Code of Conduct & Parental Expectations for Junior Cricket Training and Matches
Introduction
As a parent/guardian of a junior cricketer, we expect your support in promoting a positive and respectful environment at training sessions and matches. Volunteer at least a few hours each year to help with the running of the club academy in some way. Like most cricket clubs, we are a non-profit organization and relying entirely on the dedication of parent volunteers, as no one receives compensation for their efforts. The club academy thrives solely through the commitment of its members who generously offer their time, and it is essential for everyone to contribute in order to ensure its continued success.
It is important to remind all parents to refrain from participating in training sessions and matches unless specifically invited by the coach or team manager. Should you have an interest in volunteering your time or assistance, we kindly ask that you first discuss this with the coach or team manager to ensure proper coordination and support for the team.
This code of conduct outlines the expectations for parents/guardians, players, and coaches, and is aligned with the ECB's guidelines for junior cricket.
